Holistic nutrition is so much more than just food.
It’s recalibrating what we understand about nourishment and how it impacts our mind-body-spirit connection, it expands past just physical health.
Have you ever noticed what you eat impacts the way you feel or behave? Or maybe you’ve noticed you eat differently when you’re feeling certain emotions? What we eat and how we emote can either support or exacerbate symptoms.
Learning to be mindful of what we put in our bodies physically and emotionally is a really cool and helpful way to understand your own unique needs. I focus on helping you to help yourself because we all need to learn to catch our own fish!
Time and willingness to learn about yourself are required, quick fixes are not my thing. I say this with love because I personally struggled with depending on others to “heal me” and trendy diets for a long time. I’ve gone through all the quick fixes you can imagine. Only to be left worse off and defeated.
I also work with medicinal cannabis patients.
Cannabis is not always the answer or a cure, but it can be a tremendous tool when combined with holistic nutrition.
I say this because I’ve gone through this first hand. Aside from some experimentation in my teenage years, I re-visited cannabis in my mid 20's during an extremely stressful time. The stress manifested into a serious disruption of my menstrual cycle, I developed insomnia, anxiety, gained weight - the whole works. I wasn't aware the way I consumed was actually contributing to the stress and I eventually had to stop. Working in nutrition and yoga helped me re-focus on the basic foundations of what health meant for my body, mind, spirit. Eventually I learned there is a harmful or helpful way to consume cannabis.
People consume cannabis for medical purposes as a way to manage a variety of ailments including anxiety, cancer, pain, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues and more. Cannabis consumers need to be aware on how to address the root cause of their symptoms through nutrition to optimize the therapeutic properties of cannabis use. Otherwise, cannabis becomes a bandaid and can leave you feeling worse off.
Through our sessions I may integrate other modalities such as hypnosis or yin yoga based on how we choose to work together. These are tools that help deepen your learning process.

Meal plans are a great way to learn how to prepare food tailored to your specific needs, tastes and lifestyle. Customized plans include a variety of recipes based on your preferences and include alternative ingredients and shopping lists. I will coach you through unfamiliar preparation methods and shopping tips and tricks.
